Did you know, Dragon fruit, (also known as Pitaya), is a sweet, bright, and exotic looking Central/South America fruit that contains heaps of vitamins and antioxidants. It is high in fiber, iron, and vitamin C and B. It aids in digestions, reduces cholesterol, and supports better brain activity. So basically, drinking this margarita will make you smarter:)
Dragon Fruit Jalapeno Margarita ingredients.

There are three main varieties of the fruit being:

  • Pitaya Blanca: pink skin, white flesh, and black seeds.
  • Pitaya Roja: pink skin, red pulp, and black seeds.
  • Pitaya Amarilla: yellow skin, white flesh, and black seeds.
  • You can buy the pulp frozen in your supermarket, and it’s usually a vibrant pink color. This vibrant pink is the pulp of the Pitaya Roja.
  • Whether fresh or frozen, try experimenting with different varieties and make and enjoy this margarita for its nutrients and beauty!
